Mr. Chimanlal Karsandas Mashruwala was one of the first importers of Pipes, Pipe Fitting, and Valves of Western Indian and had been in this business since 1911 A.D. Later his Son Mr. Sharad C Mashruwala with his brother joined the family business in the 1950s and expanded the empire of the Mashruwala family with various firms dealing in Pipe fittings, Valves, Flanges, Pipe trading.

Mr. Sharad C Mashruwala with his brothers established M/s. Venus Engineering Works in 1962 as a company dealing with the Manufacturing of Industrial Valves and fittings. The company got many accolades and approvals throughout the 1970s including IBR approvals in 1975.

Mr. Anand S Mashruwala son of Mr. Sharad C Mashruwala joined the family business in 1980 and the family was considered to be leaders in the piping industry throughout the 1980s.

In 1987 there was a reconstitution of the firm and M/s. Venus Engineering Works was then the sole stewardship of Mr. Sharad C Mashruwala and Mr. Anand S Mashruwala. Through the late 1980s and early 1990 M/s. Venus Engineering Works focused solely on Industrial Valves and dominated the HVAC, Fire protection, and cooling plants industry.

Since early 1990 Mr. Anand Mashruwala started engaging with clients to understand their specific problems and started developing Valves for highly erosive services of the mining sector, extremely corrosive services of pure water plants, and brine applications.

In the year 1999 M/s. Venus Engineering Works was one of the first Industrial valve manufacturers of India and one of the first companies of Gujarat to have ISO 9002 quality management certifications, along with various other recognitions.

Over the next decade M/s. Venus Engineering Works became a name to recon in the Heavy Chemicals and Mining beneficiation industry.

In the year 2008, Mr. Aany Mashruwala joined the operations of M/s. Venus Engineering Works after his graduation in Engineering and Post-graduation in Management. Mr. Anay was regular at the company where he was making Pouring Charge Reports of the Casting Furnace at the age of 12 and had made his first marketing visit for the company at the early age of 16 years. Coming with fresh ideas and vigor Mr. Anay Mashruwala institutionalized the concept of Innovation and Design at the very core of the company under the close watch and guidance of Mr. Anand Mashruwala and the Guidance of Mr. Sharad C Mashruwala.

The company received ISO 9001:2008 certifications in June 2008 with State of Art Design Modules operational and included in the certifications systems.

Over the years M/s. Venus Engineering Works developed capabilities, facilities in Non-Destructive Testing, Painting and expanded many folds in its manufacturing capacities and capabilities.

In the year 2016 with an intention to further increase its production capacities and better implementation of the best manufacturing thought of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and best practices in Health safety and environment protection M/s. Venus Engineering Works shifted its manufacturing location to a much larger space.

Today M/s. Venus Engineering Works engages closely withEngineering Consultancy companies, EPC contractors, End users, Project managers, Maintenance Managers, Process Engineers to solve their problems by developing specifications, designing, manufacturing, testing, and inspecting Process control devices for specific needs of the users.

In recent times M/s. Venus Engineering Works have designed Valves for Obnoxious Gas Services, Valves for Hydrogen Gas Services, Valves for Extreme pressure applications, Design Up-gradation for Valves for Highly erosive Mining Beneficiation sector, Tamper Proof Air Valves for Large diameter Waterlines with quick response, Kinetic Air Valves for Sea Water Applications to name a few.

Because of such rich experience, Mr. Anay Mashruwala is called upon as a speaker/consultant at various national and international forums on Innovation and Entrepreneurship including IIM Ahmedabad, Pandit Deen Dayal Petroleum University, Nirma University, Ahmedabad University nationally and have closely worked with Professors of KEIO University Japan, Centre For Design Research Stanford University, Judge Business School Cambridge University to name a few.

The end aim of M/s. Venus Engineering Works is to Delight Customers of M/s. Venus Engineering Works by highly customized offerings for the specific needs of their clients.
