LINED & SLEEVED VALVES

1. When we are dealing with extreme corrosion and the line is pressurized then lined & sleeved valves are the only available alternative for such services.

2. Even a small minute defect in the lining or the sleeve has the potential of the valve failure due to heavy corrosion.

3. To avoid that we at m/s. Venus engineering works check the entire lining/sleeve with a high voltage spark test and make sure the hardness tensile strength and chemical properties of the lining material used are as per the required standard specifications.

4. We have an experience of working with a very wide array of materials including

  • Rubbers (Natural; Nitryl; Butyl; EPDM; Silicon; Ebonite Etc).

  • Teflon (PTFE; PFA; Rtfe (Glass Filled, Carbon Filled; Cobalt Filled Etc).

  • Nickel coating and cladding for extreme corrosion and erosion resistance.

  • Tungsten carbide; amorphous carbide; boron carbide; stellite 6 coatings; etc for extreme erosion services.

  • Glass coating and glass flake coating for corrosive and erosive services.
