Globe Valve

FUNCTION:

Globe valves are used for automatic shut functions and provide positive shutoff, flow regulation, and long, low-maintenance service life. A globe valve is a type of linear motion valve that is used to stop and start flow. A globe valve's disc can either be completely withdrawn from the flow stream or completely closed. The perpendicular motion of the disc away from the seat is the basic basis of globe valve action. As the valve is closed, the ring-shaped area between the disc and the seat ring gradually closes. This feature allows a globe valve to throttle to a reasonable degree.

WHY VENU® VALVES?

Since our valves have been meticulously developed and built to ensure optimal durability for long and trouble-free service life, even in high-volume applications. We have been supplying these Valves since 1960.

SIGNIFICANT CHARACTERISTICS:

Globe valves come in three basic body designs: T-body, B-body, and C-body (most common body type) Angle body (modification of the basic T-type, at an angle of 90 degrees), Y-body (an alternative for the high-pressure drop, angled at approximately 45 degrees), and Y-body (an alternative for the high-pressure drop, angled at approximately 45 degrees), all designs applicable on Bolted Bonnet or Pressure Seal Bonnet solutions.
