Butterfly Valve
FUNCTION:
A butterfly valve is a highly adaptable device that can be used to isolate or regulate flows. It is less heavy than other types of valves and only requires minor pressure drops. It has several advantages, including reduced axis wear and tear, less friction resulting in less torque, a more cost-effective actuator, and so on, culminating in a very useful valve. It may work with a variety of materials, including gas, liquid, and solid.
WHY VENU® VALVES?
Since our valves have been meticulously developed and built to ensure optimal durability for long and trouble-free service life, even in high-volume applications.
Our expertise and know-how allow us to always offer the optimal solution to any severe service application:
Maintenance is simple.
Anti-Blow-Out Technology
Surfaces for sealing that are perfectly machined
Lower maintenance expenditures due to a longer operating life
Excellent low-temperature efficiency
Packing gland configuration that is unique
SIGNIFICANT CHARACTERISTICS:
Venus Engineering Works provides a cost-effective, maintenance-free solution for metal-to-metal zero leakage capability at cryogenic temperatures. Low emission stem packing is created by combining thread and flexible rings with a particular material composed of graphoil or any other material chosen by the customer. Emissions are avoided due to the high quality of the machined surfaces. VENU has also created special testing facilities for testing various types of packaging and certifying processes.
VENUS ENGINEERING WORKS manufactures valves with a range of operating mechanisms, including handwheels, impact handwheels, gears, electric actuators, hydraulic actuators, and pneumatic actuators. The actuators are already mounted on motorised valves, and the torque and position restrictions are set correctly.
Customer-specified Flange or Butt Weld designs are offered for butterfly valves. Because of its top entrance design, the Butt Weld option offers access to the valves for maintenance without removing the body from the line.
